Riso printed Book on recycled paper, A5.

'Shoreline, Skyline, Treetop Messenger' was commissioned by Invisible Dust and North Lincolnshire Museums during lockdown in 2020. Inspired by the museum's collection of taxidermy birds, which they were in the process of decommissioning, we worked with people living in the Scunthorpe area to create images of the birds in their garden and nearby locations via a series of online workshops. We posted out art kits to people and then worked with them via Zoom to create linocuts, watercolours and collages of their favourite resident birds. The images were then collated in a riso-printed book, which also featured essays by birds scientists Dr Nicola Hemmings, Lucas Mander and Tim Birkhead.
